Welcome to Briar Creek Photography! We are a family-owned business providing still images of the special events in your life - weddings, bat and bar mitzvahs, anniversaries and birthdays, graduations and dances, sports teams and school activities....any celebration or event that is meaningful to you. Our favorite photo ops focus on relationships featuring friends or family members who have known one another for years, the documentation of the beginnings of new families and friends at weddings, and everything in between. We also photograph corporate events, golf tournaments and charity auctions. Portrait photography naturally flowed from meeting so many people through our event and sports league photography!
Although Georgi's interest in photography began when she was a child, Briar Creek Photography arose after Georgi "retired" from being a middle school yearbook adviser, where she honed her photography skills covering the schools' sports and educational events. Our first clients were the Annandale North Springfield Little League, Annandale Youth Lacrosse and the Wakefield Chapel Wahoos swim team. Parents of these community athletes began to ask Georgi to photograph their families' weddings and other special events, as well as additional activities in which their children participated. Since 2007, Briar Creek Photography has steadly grown throughout northern Virginia, just outside Washington, DC.
